Hi, my name is Samantha. I am a former Texas kindergarten educator who found so much reward in educating young 5 year olds minds. I enjoy the challenge of meeting the scholar where they are (some with no academic vocabulary and some that have never been in a school setting) to help them learn and grow to be Kindergarten Ready! After becoming a mother in 2018, I quickly realize that Kindergarten Readiness needs to start way before the child ever enters kindergarten. I was inspired to start Kinder Prep Training when I witnessed my two year old son pick up a book he has never seen and read it independently from start to finish. A few months later, I was astonished when he picked up the kindergarten sight word flashcards I had laying around and read all but 3 words independently.

At Kinder Prep Training it is our goal to connect with parents who are juggling career and mom life while trying to navigate coaching their child(ren) through the Science of Teaching Reading. Since then, I’ve had the honor of meeting and sharing my lessons with parents all across Texas. With the launch of Kinder Prep Training, I’ve tailored all my favorite lessons to each child’s skill level. The best part? You don’t need any supplies to get started.
